Newcastle United Saudi owners ready for big revamp as they make Eddie Howe vow.

According to The Telegraph, Eddie Howe will keep his job at Newcastle United, whether the club qualifies for Europe or not, ahead of the 2024/25 season.

This comes from North-East reporter Luke Edwards, who says that Howe remains the man trusted to oversee the next part of our project, despite our disappointing defeat against Chelsea last night, which left us in 10th place.

The club is anticipated to carry out major changes to the first-team squad this summer, with significant changes on the horizon. Player trade is likely to help us work within FFP limits, as many fringe players are out of contract, and we need to bolster a number of positions.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we did bring in an upgrade for Dan Burn, competition for Fabian Schar, at least one new midfielder, a right-winger to replace Miguel Almiron, and another forward to provide us with a fresh option up front.

It is thought that the club’s proprietors always expected our progress to be non-linear. Profit and sustainability constraints have hampered our recruitment, and this season has been plagued by injuries, leaving us with a poorer squad than the previous season; a dreadful scenario given the additional fixtures we’ve faced in Europe.

According to the Telegraph, chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan will conduct an end-of-season evaluation of the football club’s various sections. His feelings on Howe are unclear at the moment, but he will be headed by UK-based co-owners who are all totally supportive of Howe and sensitive to the issues we’ve experienced this season.
