“Leicester City is a better option” pundit Carlton Palmer urged highly Rated Leicester City Target To Join Foxes

Leicester City have already been linked to a number of players as the season comes to an end, with the Foxes looking set to return to the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca took over a team that was demoted from the top division in an unprecedented way last summer and overhauled the roster, bringing in new recruits like Harry Winks, Mads Hermansen, Callum Doyle, and Stephy Mavididi, who have made all the difference.

Leicester are currently second in the championship after leading the table for the majority of the season, thanks to parachute payments. However, as a result of their FA Cup match against Chelsea last weekend, the Foxes still have a game in hand on league leaders Leeds United.

Unfortunately, Leicester City was accused this week for violating the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules, which means the team could face a points loss when it returns to the promised land. However, Maresca and his men will continue their chase of the second-tier championship.

According to Opta’s most recent estimates, Leicester remain strong favourites for the title, with a 58.4% likelihood of finishing at the top of the league. Meanwhile, the team has an 87.9% chance of being promoted among the top two.

In a recent interview with Football League World, Sheffield Wednesday great and EFL pundit Carlton Palmer urged Dembele to transfer to either the King Power Stadium or Elland Road.

“This has brought him to the attention of West Ham and Everton, who are looking at the player. It will be interesting to see if they can make a deal with his present club to get him out. With his age at 21, he could be a possible top-flight player.

“Maybe a Leeds or a Leicester would be more appealing to a player in terms of him getting more game time. If he went to Everton or West Ham, he would be more of a squad player,” he continued.

“It will be interesting to see what happens with him. He has done really, really well, and at the age of 21 I think he would look to go to a club perhaps like Leeds or Leicester where he will be guaranteed more game time if he moves.”

It would make more sense for the young playmaker to join Leicester City or Leeds United, where he will have a higher chance of playing time than at West Ham United or Everton.

However, the 21-year-old will face a difficult hurdle in advancing from League One to the Premier League. Perhaps his eventual club will send him on loan to the Championship to help him prepare for the step up to the top tier.
