Regarding former Forest midfielder Mangala, Everton and Lyon begin negotiations.

Recent reports, Everton and Olympique Lyonnais are negotiating a loan agreement for Orel Mangala, a defensive midfielder, to return to the Premier League.Eliaquim Mangala - Wikipedia

Despite having only recently agreed to a long-term contract with the League 1 team this summer, the 26-year-old Belgian international might be the ideal addition for the Blues if they recruit another central midfield player before this Friday’s deadline.

Mangala made 47 league games throughout his two years at Nottingham Forest. However, he spent the final few months of that time on loan with Lyon before agreeing to a £15 million transfer at the start of July. If a deal can be reached, L’Equipe and El Bobble claim that he may now spend the season at Goodison Park.

Everton has been after two deals with Lyon this summer, with the initial being the 17 million-pound acquisition of Jake O’Brien last month.
