Over the summer, Brendan Rodgers, the manager of the Hoops, kept his team very active in an attempt to prepare for another campaign in which he hopes to win all available titles in Scotland. However, late in the day, O’Riley was lost to a South Coast club.

Matt O’ Riley, a midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, was the biggest departure from Celtic over the summer. His move is thought to have cost between £25 million and £30 million. In the Seagulls’ Carabao Cup match against Crawley Town last week, the 23-year-old made his debut. However, he was forced to leave the game after just six minutes due to damage to his ankle ligament.

Following a successful ankle operation, Brighton chairman Bloom hopes to bring the midfield player back later this season. Brighton has already made a statement regarding the player’s condition.

O’Riley joined Celtic Park in January 2022 after leaving MK Dons, and he left this summer. In 124 games, he scored 27 goals and contributed an amazing 35 assists while playing in Glasgow. The midfielder, who is now a senior Denmark international, was essential to Celtic’s league and cup victories, and Hoops supporters will undoubtedly be hoping for a speedy recovery for him.
