According to Corriere dello Sport via SportWitness, Newcastle United are in a strong position to sign the 26-year-old winger this summer.

The Italian international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for months, and it remains to be seen if Newcastle can complete the deal. Barcelona is interested in signing the Juventus winger as well.

The player is under contract with Juventus until the summer of 2025, and the Italian giants will not want to lose him for free next year. It seems logical to sell him while he still has some value.

Newcastle’s attack requires more quality and depth, and Chiesa should prove to be a valuable addition. The 26-year-old will provide goals and creativity on the flanks. He’s versatile enough to play on either wing. This season, he’s scored eight goals and added two assists.

Federico Chiesa might fancy Newcastle move

The Italian international is reaching the pinnacle of his career and will aim to fight at the top level. Newcastle has an ambitious project and is one of the richest clubs in the world. They want to put together a side capable of winning big trophies, and Chiesa might be interested in being a part of that ambitious effort.

The 26-year-old Italian winger possesses the physical and technical attributes to thrive in English football, and if the deal is completed, he will want to make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

Given his contractual condition, it is logical to presume that he will be available for a reasonable fee in the summer.

Meanwhile, interest from Barcelona may complicate the scenario. Barcelona is one of the world’s largest clubs, and the prospect to join them can be quite appealing to any player. But the spanish giant has strugled in recent years so the Italian may easily be persuaded to join Newcastle rather than Barcelona in the summer.
