According TBR Football, West Ham is considering making a last-minute attempt to capture Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain before the transfer market closes.
On August 26, the outlet’s website stated that the Hammers are hoping to take advantage of Besiktas’ financial predicament and the former player’s wish to return to England in order to finalise another signing before the deadline.
After making significant recruitments, James Ward-Prowse and Tomas Soucek may be let go, creating space for the former England international.
But West Ham isn’t the only team ‘plotting’ a move; Wolves and Nottingham Forest are also involved, as are Brentford and Crystal Palace.

The Irons might not really need to make this late move, even if Oxlade-Chamberlain is still only 31 years old.
having appeared in just 89 games for Liverpool and Besiktas in the last four seasons, he hasn’t put on a lot of mileage, but when he does play well, he is unquestionably a dynamic player.
